Valleygolds Very First Homebred Champion

Spirit is a moderate boy with correct structure and a solid topline. He stays in condition easily and always carries good muscle mass. He is medium gold with a very low maintenance coat and good furnishings for his age. His head piece is beautiful. He weighs 76 pounds and stands 23 1/2 inches. His movement is clean coming and going and he enjoys being a show dog. Spirit's temperment is always good around other dogs. He is easy going, very obedient and dependable. Spirit has accomplished a lot for a young dog. He earned his WC at 7 months old of age. He earned his Junior Hunter title at 12 months old - amateur owner trained. Spirit completed his bench championship at just 21 months of age - winning WD at both the Potomac Valley Golden Retriever Specialty and the Lenape Golden Retriever Specialty. He has won Best of Breed twice at all breed shows and made the cut in the Group both times. Since earning his Championship, Spirit has trained and earned Senior Hunter title. Spirit is owned by Frances Smith, Laura Weinmann and Betty Whaley. He resides with Laura who does his training and conditioning. Thank you to Kelly Shuffelbottom for her expert handling and grooming of Spirit while he earned his championship.
